A Matter of Discretion

The year is 1910, and as the First World War looms and society is at a crossroads, the aristocrats of Great Britain hold their secrets close. It is Giles Northbridge’s job to ensure their love affairs, vices, and petty crimes remain secret. That is, until an influential Member of Parliament hires him to find his rebellious daughter, Henrietta—and someone makes an attempt on Northbridge’s life. Now Northbridge must confront a violent revolutionary who seeks to bring down the establishment, a secret cadre of military officers known as the Cavaliers pulling strings behind the velvet curtain of society, and a devious half-brother he hoped to never see again, so he can find Henrietta and discover who is trying to kill him—and why.
